Home!

Well, it was late, but Al was discharged around 10PM last night. Very happy to come home and sleep in his own bed...and a shower :-). There's new medications, and some rounds of appointments over the next week, but we're optimistic that we'll be on the road by the middle of next week...crossed fingers that we get the green light :-).

Thanks to all our family and friends for the love and support of the past week...we couldn't do it without you!

  1. Fingers, toes and any other extremities that might be floating around will be crossed in hopes that you'll be able to departure next week. Thoughts and prayers are still coming your way. Just keep the faith.

  2. We know well how much knowing that people are thinking of you means. So glad to hear that Al is home. Hospitals are definitely not places to stay in. Hoping they get things set so he can safely travel.

  10. Karen, I am so sorry I just read about Al's problems. I have been down with the flu and just got back on the computer a while ago to do a post. wow, what scary posts I read. I am so happy that this last one was good news and that he is home and feeling better. Please know I hope you are on your way to your new job soon. We are having RV problems too. Seems like everyone has one thing or another going on now. Please give Al my best wishes. Take care, both of you.
